01:15 AM – 01:45 AM: Arrive at Paltuding. Meet your local trekking guide, secure entry tickets, and receive your protective medical gas mask.
01:45 AM – 03:45 AM: Begin the 3 km trek up Mount Ijen. The trail is a steady uphill dirt and sandy path, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours.
03:45 AM – 05:15 AM: Carefully descend 700 meters into the steep, rocky crater floor with your guide to witness the Electric Blue Fire. Observe the sulfur clouds and the traditional mining operations up close.
05:15 AM – 06:30 AM: Climb back up to the crater rim to enjoy the sunrise and capture the vast panoramic view of the turquoise-colored acid lake.
06:30 AM – 08:00 AM: Hike down the mountain path back to the Paltuding base camp.
