Arrival / Pick up from Bali
Start from your hotel in Bali around 10.00 – 10.30 AM. Our staff will take you to the most western tip of Bali to reach Gilimanuk ferry port for about 4 hours by a private full AC car. Then, we will cross Bali strait with ferry for about 1,5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port of Banyuwangi in the most eastern tip of Java Island. Proceed to the Hotel for check in then free leisure as individual activity.
Ijen Crater
00.30 AM, meet your tour guide at hotel’s lobby. then directly go to the basecamp at Ijen mountain. The journey takes approximately 1,5 hours. Upon arrival, getting prepare or have a coffee-break before start the activity.
After several preparations, start hiking to reach the rim of Ijen crater, ascending the slope for 3,5 Kilometers which normally takes 2 hours by walk. From there, you will enjoy stunning blue fire, burning Sulphur that spews blue light in the dark. When the sun rises, resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2386 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the world’s largest acidic lake with its magnificent turquoise colored water.
After You enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen back to basecamp – breakfast. Afterwards, drive to Homestay at village nearby Tumpak Sewu waterfall, will take 5-6 hours and tentatively make stop for lunch at local restaurant.
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
Starting the journey, synonymously called an adventure! It takes 3 hours to explore the Tumpak sewu area. Trekking trough tropical landscape of Java Island within Semeru volcano standing tall as the highest Volcano in Java at Background. Visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall at first, have the view of the waterfall from Above, often local people called it Niagara waterfall of Java.
Then walk down the hill to see the waterfall from below. Standing in the bottom of waterfall, surrounded by cliffs with water falling almost on every cliff’s edge. Afterwards, continue trekking to visit Goa tetes and Nirvana waterfall. After the tour, we will drive to your hotel in Bromo area, it takes around 4 hours drive. Upon arrival in the afternoon, proceed to check in at Hotel located nearby Bromo Volcano and free leisure until next program.
Bromo
After exploring Tumpak Sewu, get ready for an adventure in Bromo. By Jeep, you will be taken to the top of Penanjakan or another sunrise point, such as Sruni Point, to witness a spectacular sunrise with Mount Bromo and a sea of sand in the background.
Afterward, you can explore the Bromo crater, experience the thrill of riding in a sea of sand, or visit Pura Luhur Poten. Exploring the rim of the Bromo crater is a spectacular experience that you shouldn’t miss.
After watching the sunrise at several sunrise spots, such as Penanjakan or Sruni Point, you can continue exploring the rim of the Bromo crater. You will pass through a sea of sand and climb stairs to reach the rim of the Bromo crater.
It sounds like a jet engine as you hear the volcano roaring as result of fuming gasses from very bottom of the crater surrounded by “pit-hole caldera looks”. At latest 08.00 AM, back to parking area then drive back to hotel to get breakfast. Leaving Bromo area at 10.00 direct transfer back to Ketapang or directly drive to Surabaya or Malang for drop off service.
